Albert W. Black, Jr. is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at the University of Washington.   He received his M.A. from Wayne State University, and his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.   Dr. Black joined the U.W. faculty in 1972.   His special interests include race and ethnic relations, stratification, social movements, and race and poverty.
