Prof. Ringen teaches social and political theory, research methods, and social policy. He is the author of several major works including, Citizens, Families, and Reform, The Possibility of Politics, and What Democracy is For.
His talk will explore several questions: How good are our democracies? Are some better than others? And how do the United States and Europe compare?
